Artist Biography
I grew up in a very artistic family. Some of my earliest memories are of my parents preparing for art shows. My grade school years were spent being home schooled on a farm in Oregon while learning to be innovative and self reliant. Eighth grade was spent traveling Mexico with my family and becoming exposed to new cultures. My first job was an afternoon job in high school learning carpentry and construction. My early adult life was involved in learning the retail furniture industry and home decoration. Later on, I moved into the home repair and painting and decorating trades which led to an awakening of my artistic instincts and I soon added faux finishes, murals and interior design to my services. Years later, my desire to live abroad and experience other cultures returned. In 2008, my wife and I made a decision to fulfill a wish and live in Italy for a year. We have now returned to our home in Solano County and I have reopened my studio specializing in European design elements and sustainable design with hand drawn or computer aided visualization and old world art techniques. –Eric Breuer
