Decorative Stenciling uses precut patterns to apply a design. Usually the design is hand applied by a brush to leave the pattern on the surface.

This project involved the use of period decorative wallpaper on the ceiling chosen by another designer. As the artist, I chose a gilding paste for the stencil color and created the star pattern on the walls in the space between the wall papers.
